Lake Winnipesaukee offers some of the most incredible fresh water diving in the northeast. The bottom is littered with wrecks from rowboats all the way up to the Lady of the Lake, a 125' paddlewheeler that sank in 1895. There is no shortage of marine life either. At most sites, our friendly bass will accompany you on your dive waiting for a crayfish handout. In addition to the bass, several other species such as hornpout, salmon, lake trout, rainbow trout, cusk, schools of yellow and white perch and carp will often swim by. Peer down between the double, oak hull of the Lady of the Lake and you may find "Gus", a 3' American Eel.
